Insurance Approval & Pre-Op

I got a call from Michelle @ Dr. Moran's office today. She said they received approval from my insurance company today and my surgery is still scheduled for Jan. 14th. She said I need to come for my appointment with Dr. Moran before surgery, so we were able to schedule for Jan. 6th @ 8:30 AM. Then when I got home this afternoon I got a call from Janelle about the pre-op stuff at the hospital. She said she scheduled it for the same day (Jan. 6th) at 10:30, so that I can get it all done on one day and not have to take another day off of work. Then when I checked the mail I received a letter from my insurance company that stated they approved my surgery. The letter also stated that they do not cover the removal of excess skin. I'm not real worried about that. I figure I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. Right now I'm just thrilled that this surgery is really going to happen (and very soon).

Time will fly by for you. Getting insurance approval was one of those top ten days of my entire life. Congratulations!!
